Name: Lukas Vector
Nicknames: Luke, Hector the Vector, Bug Boy, Parasite
Age: 500, appears to be 25.
Gender: Male
Race: Half-demon (50% human, 50% demon)
Eye C.: Blue-violet
Hair C: White, moderately lengthed.
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 180lbs
Abilites: Luke is quite a force to be reckoned with, as he has many abilities.
Summoning - Luke has a means of bonding with insects and other vermin. Primarily, the insects that he summons are of the earthly variety, and usually come in plague-like proportions. Luke has a record of calling upon locusts, spiders, scorpions, and leeches, making this guy a serious threat without his OWN means of fighting.
Demonic Summoning - (I decided to separate this from his REGULAR summoning, as it would be unfair to combine the two into one. This way, there's room for another defect.) Luke also has the demonic variety of vermin to summon. These are FAR more dangerous than the regular variety of vermin. In this, he can call upon the help of plagues of demonic versions of locusts, cicadas, moths, butterflies, and others. Among these demonic insects are the kind that need to feed on blood, meat, and spirit energy to keep going.
Spirit Energy - Luke fights primarily through the use of spirit energy, which is very powerful, but volatile at the same time. If rationed carefully, it can be very powerful without exhausting its user. Generally, the energy would be channeled into a means of projectile, whether beam or orb, bullet, sword, etc.
Spirit Cloning - Also falling under the category of Spirit Energy, but needs separated to be fair. When Luke's energy levels exceed normal capacity and concentration (when he becomes emotionally unstable, generally), he can produce his own varieties of spiritual beings, usually taking on the forms of parasitical insects. However, this drains him of his energy VERY quickly, and usually results in a temporary coma. The ability can exceed his state of consciousness, so long as the bugs can continue to feed on the spirits of others, and continue to grow in the process.
Weapon(s)/Form(s) of Combat: Spirit Energy
Signature Weapon(s): none
Defects: Half-demon - Being only half-demon, Luke has several flaws. In his case, his demon half is generally recessive, meaning he is much less powerful than he COULD be. Also, the contrasts cause a lot of inner conflict with himself. Luke tends to be quite bipolar at times, and usually ends up fighting with himself on the outside.
Lack of Stamina - Being only half-demon, the use of spirit energy tires Luke out rather quickly. He generally uses it only as a last resort, when he feels the battle is lost.
Consumption - Though most of his half-demon traits are recessive, he still fights the constant battle with energy thirst. Luke must feed on the spirit energy of others in order to keep his own levels up, and to keep his body animated. Without proper feeding, he grows weak and feeble, and risks death by starvation and thirst.
Scars: Several cuts and slashes over most of his body, with the exception of his face, which is ironically free of scars.
Brief Background: Much of Luke's past is a mystery even to him. He seems to have trouble remembering that his childhood really wasn't too bad. His parents owned a small ranch on the outskirts of the nearest city to Severance. They were very well-to-do, and mostly harmonious. Luke was an only child, so he DID get kinda lonely from time to time, but usually managed quite well.
A lot of this changed after his mother, Elisa, passed away. His mother lived quite long for a human, dying at 133 years of age. While Luke was able to handle her passing quite well, especially for a child, his father (Rokam Vector) didn't take so easily to it. At first, there would only be suttle behavioral changes. Rokam might have a relapse to a time when Elisa was still around, and when it got pointed out to him, he'd snap and maybe bop his son once or twice for "back-talking". As time passed, though, it got much worse. Rokam would later on begin to think his life to be worthless, with his true love gone forever. He would begin to think that his being a demon was a curse, so he would have to endure the loss of Elisa for much longer than any human would. And because of these thoughts, he grew exponentially more bitter towards everything.
Eventually, the bitterness would swell to a point driving Rokam insane.
One night, Luke walked into his father's bedroom, to find him dead on the mattress. It would turn out that he overdosed on a form of supernatural drug, which basically poisoned his spirit energy, thus killing him. It was particularly fatal, as his variety of demon needed to FEED on spirit energy to survive. This devastated Luke, and the only thing he could do was run away to the wilderness, as nobody would take him. Nobody wanted anything to do with a demon child.
Through living in the woods for so long, Luke became one with a lot of its species, and became especially fond of insects. After a few decades, he developed a means of communicating with groups of insects, to come around and help him out of a bind. After a few more decades, he'd come to be able to summon and control large groups of demonic insects. And in recent decades, he has been able to better tame his spirit energy, in such a way that he can better ration his consumption to prolong the results of his feeding. Also, he was able to develop his means of combat, and a way to feed on several sources simultaneously.
Up until 20 years ago, the man was rather calm, and good-natured, until a string of unfortunate events turned him. For one, there was a massive demon hunt, which killed nearly everyone he had come to know in over 400 years of existence, as he never communicated much with humans since his mother passed away. This would be the single event that could be blamed for his turning bad. Since then, he's made it a point to exterminate those humans and other demon slayers who cross his path. As of late, though, he's been losing himself in his thirst for compensation and justice. Thus, he's been attacking more liberally, and feeding more regularly.
He now arrives at the doorstep of Severance, passing his own means of judgement over the city, for housing those he views as racist murderers. There's a strong sense of vengence about him, and if anyone can bring it, it's Lukas Vetor.
Personality: Lukas can get along with most people, as long as he isn't in a particularly bitter mood when spoken to. He's generally peaceful until he encounters the carcasses of demons, or those hunting them, or those speaking of how inherently evil demons are supposed to be. At that point, he'll let loose and kill liberally without any notice.
Appearance: Average build. Toned a little, but not much. Lukas is rather pale, and generally dresses in various forms and styles of clothing, so long as it's black and grey.
Mental Issues: Bipolar, various trust issues, moderate depression, and rumoured to be psychotic.
Pets: Lukas favors his demon wolf, Touk. He's white... And he also has blue-violet eyes.
Family: Rokam Vector - deceased
Elisa Vector - also deceased
Occupation: drifter
Current Status: Ready to exterminate.
