"Hmmm, I like the idea. An ambush sounds quite pleasant. You know, there's a chance I we might not even have to touch anyone ourselves. Just some minor cleanup and looting afterwards. With the help of a few of nature's friends, I think we might pull off the job even quicker and with less blood on our OWN hands to clean up," he stated. "I have ways with communicating with some of the lesser demons, and with various vermin. Perhaps we might use them to our advantage," he said, making sure he didn't divulge TOO much info about his powers. Some of it would have to remain a secret, at least for a little while.

Now facing him with a wide smile, she unwittingly gave a good view of her canines. "That would be just perfect!" Her voice filled with a seductive icy glee and her hand found it's way to rest lightly on his arm. Her gesture was a subconscious motion, but it might work in her favor without her even realizing that she had done it.
Keeping with her ruse she didn't plan to divulge her own ability of summoning the lesser demons. "That is so much more graceful than I thought we could have ever pulled off! My first impression was that we would have to brutally force our way through the nest of killers." Lucia's eyes seemed to sparkle, (gears were turning oh so very quickly) though she just look like she was excited about the coming retribution, and indeed she was, but that wasn't all she was thinking of.
With a bit of a pout to boost his ego slightly, "I have a few contacts, but... I image that they would be very skittish at your presence, being a new figure in the equation is all. They aren't fond of such large sets of vibrations. Jittery little things they are really... But it's alright!" They turned a corner and continued into what looked to be the more rundown part of the city.

Lukas noticed her hand, but didn't think anything of it. He was more concerned with the task at hand. He had been wanting a partner for so long, and he may have found one in Lucia. He finally had some help with the menace who had taken so much away from him in his centuries of existence. And he wasn't about to let it go to waste. Nah, not this time. He wasn't about to pass up another opportunity at revenge.
"Just lead the way. Get us to a good vantage point to where I can plan the ambush, and we'll go clean house," he said with a sadistic grin. "We might even get some tools to help us in our mission, yeah?"

"Absolutely." Now that they had their goal practically in sight she stepped up the pace. "It's not far, and it doesn't really look like it would be one of the largest gathering place for one of the stronger demon hunter guilds in the city. So foolish of them to clump like that if you ask me."
They then came to one of the far end of the housing district they had just walked though. Looking over at Lukas pointedly and jerking her thumb in the direction of an abandoned building. It was two stories tall and had who knows how many basement floors.
Slipping into the alley before the building, she spoke in whispers in case there happened to be a patrol out tonight. "The top floor is nothing but records, hundreds of the things. The bottom floor is mostly empty to keep the face of a decrypted old building that is falling apart. The first basement floor is the actually 'lobby' where the hunters gather, and the floor under that is weapons and stocks. Of course there are several sets of firearms on each floor just in case of... oh say an attack." Lucia's voice was filled with malice and ice, her eyes flared an angry red.
"They have cameras, but they are very few and far between, most of them are on the outside perimeters and in the decoy lobby. We can either go around or I can dispatch these simple devices. Then the real fun begins for these monsters." If only Lukas new that she was one of the reasons most hunters lumped all the demons together what would he think of her then? Of course, she wasn't all bad... every now and then... (rarely)

Lukas appeared to contemplate the circumstances, but only for a brief moment. He had already decided a few blocks ago what he was going to do.
"Just sit and wait, and watch a master at work," he said, sitting cross-legged on the ground. Bowing his head and closing his eyes, a faint green aura began to emanate from his entire body, almost like thin candle smoke. The faint aura began to swirl and rotate around him as it slowly increased in area, spreading out over the immediate area where the two were standing and sitting. As it continued to spiral outward, Lukas opened his eyes, which were now glowing yellow in the dark of night. He lifted his head slowly and opened his lips to expose his teeth, as he began to emit a very insect-like call, only much louder than anything indigenous to the area. And the call only crescendoed as the aura grew thicker and expanded further from the half-demon's body. Spiraling ever faster, it eventually spun into a green, aural torrent, shooting up into the sky and outward like a sheet of lightning.
Then, silence.
After only a few moments though, there came some lightly, lightly at first. Flapping like the wings of birds, but higher in pitch, and with a distinct crinkling. Then, over the horizon, came a pair of crimson red orbs, belonging to a great, winged insect, the size of a station wagon. With earth-toned wings of many colors, and very fuzzy, powdery-looking torso. It was a single demon moth... At first. Suddenly, another pooped up over the same horizon, and then another, soon to be accompanied by a small swarm of dozens of the demon insects of the night! They appeared to be quite hungry, and quite ferocious, baring the fangs and sharp teeth, stained in blood and rotting flesh. The whole swarm emitted blood-curdling screeches as they circled the two ambushers.
Lukas rose to his feet, with his glowing yellow eyes still piercing the dark of night, emitting one final screech himself. The monster moths soon dispatched, appearing to be aiming straight for the seemingly abandoned building just a little ways away.
"Lucia, I'd like to introduce you to these moths, but they've a very strong hunger right now, and any interaction may possibly cause even our OWN demises," stated Lukas blankly, as he looked upon the building.

Leaning against a wall she waited for what was about to happen. The amount of energy he sent off gave her chills, she definitely found a gem in Lukas.
The sound he emitted next was of one that she had never before experienced and she almost let out a hiss of surprise. Not thinking, she almost interrupted him to ask him just what was going on, but the silence stuffed her words back in her throat.
She snapped into defensive... it was much to quiet, there was no sound to be heard of any sort. The glowing orbs of red caught her attention and her jaw dropped. As the gigantic moths surrounded them her back hunched a bit and her own eyes took on the same reddened hue of that of the demonic insects. Her low and fanged hiss was drowned out as they flapped away towards the building.
"I would have no doubt of that Lukas...." She muttered as the moths descended on the nest of the hunters. "How are they going to get in?" she asked coldly. Lucia was mentally assaulting herself for the amount of surprise that had overtaken her, even so she allowed one more shiver. "I'd be loath to be in there right now on the receiving end of your moths. How are they going to get in exactly?" The only way she could see would be for them to break a hole in the wall or ceiling and go from there.

"Mmm, just observe, Lucia," he replied.
Soon enough, the bugs barged in through the boarded-up windows, making a serious racket as they entered. Not much could be seen through the small windows now, but much could be heard. As the hungry moths entered the basement levels, nightmarish screams could be heard, accompanied by gunfire and the clanging of assorted blades. Even a few small explosions could be heard, by small bombs and grenades going off, for sure. Even energies could be felt from the humans, those who were magically inclined. The screeching of the moths was the icing atop the bloody, murderous cake of death. Within a few minutes, the bulk of the insects had exited, spattered all over their fronts and wings in blood and gore.
And all Lukas could do was hold the most sadistic smile ever invented.
"It's clear enough. We move now."

Observe she did, this display of carnage wasn't one that she hadn't seen before, but never in this way had it been preformed. As the smell of the humans arterial sap hit the air Lucia's eyes narrowed into tiny crimson slits.
Even though she had fed in amounts that would better be described as gorging, the scent of that much blood let loose a flood of pure adrenaline. It was all this hunter could do to keep still and let the moths finish their gory meal. The call of the liquid made her skin crawl in carnal want and need. The moths were only going to have so long before she went in and slipped her teeth into the soft flesh of a humans neck to relieve the hollow ache in the back of her throat.
Lucia matched Lukas's smile, her fangs seemed to shimmer slightly at the tips from what seemed to be a small amount of a thick clear liquid. "Then let us go..." She probably couldn't have moved any faster even if she had been a wind demon. Although she moved very quick and carelessly, her sprint was filled with eloquent grace and ever silent footsteps. "Please hurry Lukas," she whispered, her voice a black velvet cloth. She knew that his ears would pick up on her voice, as it was being carried by one of her chilling winds toward him, " I would feel terrible if I did this without my partner and ally in this war, but I don't know how much longer my self-restraint is going to last."

Lukas only kept his smile as he'd skip his reply, instead taking flight atop one of the returning moths. Emitting one last screech, the moth sped off towards the target building, eyes glowing as red as blood. Within only a few seconds, he had caught up to Lucia, grabbing her by the wrist as they began to ascend.
"Why didn't you just say so? I'll give you a ride!" he said as he hoisted the vampire up behind him, onto the giant moth. Things would just be better this way...

Lucia was slightly shaken out of her blood-lust when Lukas firmly latched onto her wrist. The surprise wore off just as quickly and she found that she was more in control then she'd been a moment ago.
Once she became situated on the insects large back, she ran her fingers through the moths thick fur. One hand entwined the digits through the coat, and the other hand held on lightly to his shoulder for support.
The ride was absolutely exhilarating, Lucia had never flown before, she'd been in the air held up by winds that she'd controlled, but nothing like this. The feeling of power she was receiving was incredible... Lukas was definitely going to be a great asset in the near future.
"This is wonderful," she whispered with dark joy in his ear as they swiftly approached the building under siege.

Lukas grinned.
"I know. I happen to have taste, ya know?"
With that, they slowed to a small hover above the all grass. Lukas dismounted, extending a hand to help Lucia down, being the gentleman he was.
"Come on, and try to tame yourself. We're here for equipment, not a meal. I prefer human cuisine... Not human..." he stated with a faint smile as he entered through a shattered window, making sure he didn't grab onto any glass fragments or splinters.

She took his outstretched hand and slid down off the creatures back. "Why thank you Lukas." Lucia too enjoyed human foods... but well, human was just a slight notch above in her opinion... being a vampire and all of course.
"I will try," She humorously promised, it was extremely tempting to say the least, but she'd fed just moments before so it wouldn't be to hard to stave off her craving.
If she could manage it without Lukas's noticing, she'd find a couple of bodies that weren't too mangled and gain control of the newly made corpses. You can never have to many expendable bodies in your army of undead! "What sort of equipment are we looking for? Anything in particular I should keep my eyes open for?" Slipping through the window after him she scanned the scene before them. The moths had made quick work of the place.

"Just look for anything that seems to be high-tech, or a firearm," was all he'd say as he ventured carefully down the long flight of stairs to the first basement level of the building. The door was barely on hinges thanks to the moths, and so Lukas decided to kick it the rest of the way off, thrusting his heel into the door and snapping it off its hinges. Entering the lobby of the first basement floor, he made a quick inspection, noting the dozens of mangled corpses scattered about like rag-dolls. Perhaps he should've called something a little less.... hungry...
"It may take us a good while to search these basement levels. I'm hoping the moths killed everyone. The last thing we need is an ambush," he pointed out, cracking his knuckles as he continued to step.

"Got cha. Oh, and watch out for traps as well, I'm not sure if they got paranoid after a while and set some up so keep your eyes open."
Her gaze snapped quickly in his direction after he kicked down the door. Lucia didn't know why she was nervous, if any hunters were left, they weren't a match for her. The only problem she'd had previously was the sheer amount of numbers located in the building.
"I wouldn't worry about an ambush, anything they can do in the split second we we arrive can easily be disable by a chilling gale or two." So far she hadn't found any bodies that she would deem suitable enough for her use, but... a couple of mangled cadavers did work for a good scare tactic... and fear did charge the blood with some a nice additive of adrenaline.
"I believe that in the lower ends of the basement they kept prisoners of the demons and other arcane-raced beings that they don't kill or are using to 'study.' If anything is going to be left alive it would be down there. From what I picked up from various conversations that end of the hold is very well fortified. Both in defense and offense." Lucia fell back slightly and let Lukas get farther ahead of her. The air was already filled with the smell of death and blood so she doubted he would notice a couple of missing meat bags. With a tiny spark of green, two of the bodies jerked slightly and sank into the floor as she dismissed the newly made zombies.

"I see... Well, the fortifications are likely to be computerized and automatic, meaning we might still get targeted. If I see a significant amount of dead moths, though, I'd say they're outta ammo."
With that, he continued on slowly, taking in every detail of the building. He would have to be more careful with each descent, if he were to come out unscathed. Hunters these days weren't your average every-day hunters. They weren't regular people with swords and bows. These guys had rifles. They had plasma weaponry. They had electricity at their disposal. All kinds of technology that wasn't around centuries ago, or even decades ago was available now, and he kew from experience just how bad it could be, thus his careful steps.
