Arieum looked out from the balcony of the loft Raein had purchased. "Do you really think it wise to have come here?" She looks at her mate. "Surely you can smell them too?"
A man emereged from the door way, "Yes, but remember we won't be here long enough for them to track us down." He wraps his arms around her waist, "And yes I can smell them too..... Ugh, zombies.... Such a lively group." He laughs at his own joke. "Oh, come now Ari, you need to be happy.... You are feeding aren't you?"
She turns to face him, "Yes, Raein, I took care of that the other night...." She smiles. "I think I'm going for a walk though. You want to join me?"
Raein shakes his head, "No, I think I'll stay here, have fun and don't get into trouble." He kisses her forehead and watches as she walks out the door.
