Snapping his fingers again, Shumei cancelled the altering effects, the moth slowing back down some.
"It's not like we wouldn't be able to withstand the drop, we aren't human, remember?" stated Shumei, watching as the moth began to lower its flight.

"True, that... But I'd rather not bruise tonight. While you're half elemental, I'm still half-human. I'll still take some damage," he replied as the moth took to landing atop the statue in the center of the park, the statue of the city's founder. The statue was very poorly cared for, and was corroded and faded like you wouldn't believe.
"Okay, we're here," said Lukas as he dismounted the beast, landing on the concrete 20 feet down.

"I'm half human as well, remember? And I never said I wouldn't bruise... I'm just saying we would live." stated Shumei, removing himself from the moth.
Looking at the statue, he scoffed at such poor condition it was in.
"I guess people don't really care for this guy or something."

"Poor guy never had a chance. Most people believe the city is called Severance because of the river which divides the city in half. It was actually called that because the founder was a crazy surgeon, who amputated body parts for pleasure, and basically tried to make an army of Frankenstiens... Needless to say, he was also Severance's first prisoner," explained Lukas, shaking his head.

Looking at the statue, Shumei winced. He had never really heard any stories on the name of the city, but he would have guessed the common notion on the reasoning.
"Geez... sounds like the place was founded for crazy shit to take place." he chucked, his gaze slipping away from the statue, looking around the area. It seemed... serene. Such a shame to have to ruin the tranquility.

"Hmm, yes. Quite a shame indeed..." started Lukas, before shrugging. "Oh well. I do believe it's your turn to show off. I just gave you a ride on a big furry bug, and I also attacked a bartender! I do believe you should begin this time."
Lukas smiled as he crossed his arms over his chest. It had been awhile since he had been in any form of showcase. This would be good for him. Good for the skills, the senses, and good for the sheer exercise. That, and it may draw out some hunters, who could know? If they'd come out, the two of them together would have absolutely no issues with taking them all down.
